Hydraulic loader valve

Hydraulic loader valve

Hydraulic loader valve is very popular in vehicles and machines. Hydraulic loader valve can be found in loaders, diggers and sometimes cranes. There are few types of valves and we can divide them by build or type of control, but hydraulic loader valves are mostly multi-section and multi-way. For an amateur the lever looks like standard console or computer joystick. The principle of operation is similar like in standard directional hydraulic valve. In simple words it is closed tube with multiple holes and pistons (or just one) inside. Couple holes are used to attach hose and deliver oli to piston, and make it move with power created by the pump. Other holes are to transport oil from valve to propel hydraulic cylinders in the loader (or other machine). They can be used in closed or open circulation of liquid.

Hydraulic loader valve is can be controlled many ways. This type of valve can be operated by additional or external lever but can be also combined with other types of control, like electric with solenoid or servomotor for more comfortable operating. In the simplest model hydraulic loader valve has lever to manage the flow of oil trough the valve. Every move of hydraulic loader valve is designed to perform the appropriate task. Most hydraulic loader valves have got three states, first is neutral when piston cylinder stand and oil goes to overflow, second for work when piston cylinder extends, third when piston cylinder retracts..

Main parameters of every valve are diameters of the piston and threads, efficiency of flow (measured by liters per minute), maximum pressure they can stand. For hydraulic joystick loader valve the number of possible directions of the lever are also important.

Hydraulic joystick valves should work in ambient temperature between -40°C to +60°C and oil temperature above -15°C and beyond +80°C. Type of oil is defined by producer and type of valve.
