High-low pressure shut-off valves are used in hydraulic systems in which a circuit is supplied by a double pump. Until the set maximum value is reached at the BP cartridge, the consumer is supplied with the flow rate of both pump stages. If the maximum value of the BP cartridge is exceeded, the volume flow of the low-pressure pump is switched to the tank. From this moment on, only the high-pressure pump supplies the consumer. The maximum pressure of the high-pressure pump is protected by the AP cartridge to ensure the safety of the hydraulic system.
