Hydraulic gear pumps and motors are divided into three sizes: Group 1, Group 2 and Group 3.  The groups signify the size of displacement of each pump with Group 1 ranging from 0.9 cc to 9.8 cc, Group 2 from 4 cc to 26 cc and Group 3 from 22 cc to 62 cc. The maximum working pressure of each pump also is different depending on the application.
