The G3 receiver is designed specifically for applications that require only a CAN interface, making it an ideal choice when a master controller is already integrated into the machine. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the unit can be installed directly on the machine, typically in the position where an antenna would be mounted.

By default, the receiver operates using the CANopen protocol, and additionally features hardwired inputs for a stop function. It also includes a two-digit LED display that clearly communicates system status and error codes. An internal memory log stores both internal faults and external fieldbus errors for easy diagnostics.

Activation of the receiver is exclusively linked to its dedicated Scanreco transmitter—preventing unintended activation by any third-party device. To ensure maximum safety, the unit is powered by dual processors that continuously monitor system data and output signals. In the rare event of a malfunction or loss of communication, the system instantly shuts down all outputs.

It’s built for endurance, even in harsh working conditions such as intense vibration, shocks, or electromagnetic disturbances. Its epoxy-encapsulated construction ensures complete protection from dust and moisture, allowing it to function without interruption—whether in the scorching heat of the Australian outback or the freezing cold of a Canadian winter.
