Two spool hydraulic monoblock control valve is widely used in machines that are used in the forestry industry and construction.

A hydraulic control valve is an essential element of any hydraulic system. What is a control valve? It is a valve that controls the direction of movement of the liquid that is in the system. A very important function of the manifolds is to relieve the pump during breaks in the system operation. The liquid in the system is oil. The hydraulic control valve is also used in agricultural and industrial machines. In these devices, the role of control valve is to direct the operating fluid to a specific place in the system. The place where the liquid is diverted is usually a hydraulic cylinder or motor. In addition to supplying the liquid to a specific place, there is also its discharge to another element of the hydraulic system, e.g. a tank.

Hydraulic control valves are usually located between the supply element and the receiver, i.e. between the pump and motor. Connections are possible thanks to the use of hydraulic hoses and fasteners.

One can distinguish one-, two- and three-section hydraulic control valves. The division of hydraulic control valves into sectional ones is based on differences in the method of their control.

Among the two spool control valves one can distinguish: a two-section dual-acting divider, a two-section joystick control valve and a two-section control valve with floating function.


Hydraulic control valves are intended for use in hydraulic systems of devices such as cranes, lifts, construction machinery, agricultural and industrial machinery. Hydraulics control valves can be controlled by means of a manual or electric lever.

Spool hydraulic control valves are more expensive than monoblock control valves and are less popular. This type of control valves consists of individual sections that are bolted together. In this type of control valves it is possible to replace any sections and then screw them together again.

 Hydraulic control valves are commonly used in various types of pneumatic systems. They can be found even in mining machines, while without hydraulic control valves they are not able to work, including forklifts. The same will not work tours, balers, loaders or a round of other agricultural machinery. These devices are necessary for the operation of many industrial equipment.

Why are hydraulic control valves such an important element of the hydraulic system? The hydraulic control valves works like a controller, i.e. its role is to activate and stop the flow of liquid in the system.
