Information
Shock valves are used for secondary protection of hydraulic systems.
The valves offered in this data sheet are used, among other things, to protect hydraulic motors, synchronized cylinders and systems with the same stroke volume.
They protect hydraulic motors against peak pressures from external forces. These can occur particularly in the case of heavy, overrunning masses, sudden stops or direct reversal of the motor's direction of rotation.
Another application is, for example, the protection of snow plow cylinders that are constantly exposed to external loads during clearing. We recommend installing the shock valves as close as possible to the consumer to ensure a fast response.
