Valve for drilling machine is a valve designed specifically to use in drilling machines. They are necessary for a drilling machine to function purposefully. Valves used in those machines serve many different purposes, the main one being enabling proper movement and functionality.

A drilling machine is a tool or a machine that is used to form holes of different sizes on a job, on the components, or workpiece with the help of drill bits. Drilling is a material-removing or cutting process in which the tool uses a drill bit to cut a hole of circular cross-section in solid materials.

A drilling machine is built of many elements, the main ones being a base, vertical column (also called a pillar), swivel table, power transmission system (stepped cone pulley), drill feed handle (handwheel), chuck, table clamp, drill bits, and spindle. A drilling machine should be steadily mounted on a worktable.

There are different kinds of drilling machines, each of them serving different purposes and having different use cases. They depend on the machine's size and drilling direction, which can be vertical or horizontal.
The most commonly used drilling machine is a standard worktable-mounted drilling machine. Another commonly used one is a drill, which is a small, hand-operated tool. Larger drilling machines include drilling rigs or tunnel boring machines.

The way a drilling machine works is when the power is given to the motor, the spindle rotates, and thereby the stepped pulley attached to it also rotates. On the other end, one more stepped pulley is attached and that is inverted to increase or decrease the speed of the rotational motion. Then a V-belt is placed in between the stepped pulleys to drive the power transmission. A flat belt can also be used.

The drill bit also rotates, being placed in the chuck, and with connection with the spindle. As the pulleys rotate, the spindle also rotates which can rotate the drill bit. By the rotation of the hand-wheel, the spindle moves up and down in the vertical direction to give the necessary amount of feed to the work and this drill bit is used to make the holes on the component placed in the machine vice.

Valves in the drilling machine allow for controlling, regulating, and maneuvering the drilling machine. They are part of drilling machines' hydraulic systems and allow for ease of use and reliability.
